3/13/2012 the lake is up and the fish are biting well
Today the flock from out in the sand hills made there anual pilgrimage to speeder creek for sprng break. This is the near famous Everett Gang haeded up by Booger of Kermit, his brother, Jason from the bright lights of BigD, and nephews Havis from Semi Hole, TX and Chris of Burleson. This full day trip produced an even 100 blue cat, 2 large hybrids, and one big buffalo that won Havis big fish honors. We did managed to loose a 30# blue and 2 other very heavy fish. The fishing will only continue to improve as the water warms up, This week is all booked up but I do have some opening next week and the week after. April will also be lights out shallow water-blue cat spanking.

3/17/2012 My friend Doug Kinsey from Georgetown and I put in a morning of blue cat spanking. Left the dock at 8 AM and by 11:15 had put a limit of 50 blues in the boat. We released the last fish and headed around to Hooterville flats to try and catch a biggun. The fishing was only steady today and far from the fast and furious soon to come. Come on down to Speeder Creek and get you some of this bluecat to feast on. Catfish at the store is $6.99 a lb. and Doug took home about 25# today, so about $175 worth of groceries and loads of fun.
3-18-12

Bringing his neighbor Corey Holloway, owner of Cowboy Irrigation along for an afternoon of blue cat spanking. They ended the day with 50 blues. The fishing was very good as it always is with Ratmo, owner of Ratmo's Reach Around Rod&Reel Service 817-550-7470. He cleans and repairs all my rod&reels along with building custom rods.He also gives free advice on most matters of little improtance.

Everything was going along just fine until we started taking water over the bow of the boat. forcing a move from Gilligans Island to a more protective area. Finished up at 11:30 with 58 blues.
