Hey,
Just wanted to let you know that Dad & Mom (Lonnie and LeAnn Shields) had a great time! Thanks a million!

Jackie, what an awesome experience it was to be able to go out on the fishing excursion with you. I've fished a little, but never caught anything worth taking pictures of. Yesterday was so different. You seemed to know exactly where the fish were and as soon as we dropped anchor, we started reeling them in. I can't tell you how excited I was when I reeled in the first "big fish" I've ever caught. I will be talking about the fun I had for a long time and have already been recommending you to everyone. It's an experience everyone should have at least once in their life. And, believe you me, I'm going to do it again!

Jackie was at his best, put us on so many fish I was tired of cranking them in by 10:30 this morning but Tracker wanted to fish til 3 so we stayed!! I have never in my life caught so many big trophy fish that I was tired!! Almost forgot, we also came home with four full 1 1/2 gallon bags of fillets. There was some boys there cleaning some small fish and I asked them if they had been fishing with a guide. They said "naw don't need no guide."
Asked if we caught anything I said "Yes our guide put us on some fish, but we threw them back." They said "Were they too small?" I said "No they were too big"! He said "How big?" I said 'Oh just 42 lbs , 41, 39 , 37 ,29, 26 & 22, 19..." Then JK started pulling out the 5 to 10 lb'ers to fillet them... them boys started pulling out the beer!! --Ben
When Ben was working on setting up this trip he gave me a few dates that we could go and I selected this past weekend. Not that I need much of an excuse to take a day off to go fishing, but it was my birthday. Folks it was fun reeling all those gifts, just like tearing the wrapping paper off a box and not knowing what’s inside. Except I had fair clue that some of those gifts were huge by the tug and bend on the pole. Saturday was the day dreams are made of!! Big fish on…reel him in…big fish on…reel him in…bigger fish on…reel him in…giant fish on…reel him in. By 10:30 Ben is whining "I’m tired and my arms are sore!!!" Here Ben eat a bender for some more energy and reel-in that fish we have more fish to catch. Jackie thanks for a great trip it was a pleasure to share a couple days out on the water with you. Also thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge of fishing; I learned more in our short time together than most learn in a lifetime. --Tracker
My brother and I had a wonderful trip with guide jackieblue yesterday. Caught 50 blues to 3 lbs. and 8 hybrids 4-7 lbs. for a bonus. All on shad in 4-6 ft. of water. Contact Jackie for a productive and educational trip. --Greg Paul
Just wanted to say folks that this was a day I'll never forget. I have been around Cedar Creek here since 1974 and lived here full time since 1991. Well I have catfished yes a lots, but a day catfishing with Jackie Blue is altogether in another world. This man makes it look so easy and can put you on where the cats are hiding. Thanks again Jackie for such a great day and all the work you did so I could enjoy the day. --Jerry R.
I'll say this and be done with it.... Jackie Kennedy has forgotten more about catfishing than most men will ever know...myself very much included....if I caught ten fish for 170 lbs., I'll take that any day.Keep um' coming Jackie! --Hill Country Fishin Guide Service
My third guided trip with Jackie who has provided a wealth of knowledge and tips for future trips... Having your sons catch their biggest fish ever - priceless. --Dave Stoehr
Alright Jackie, I got the pictures. Man that was great, my Dad talked the whole way home about what a great trip it was. That was priceless to me.... I really do appreciate you walking us through everything and I will send you a picture of our first big Livingston blue. Weldon told me you were the best; I have to agree. If we can work something out I will be back again real soon. That was the damndest fishing trip I have ever been on. It's just dang near unbelievable. Without the pictures no one would believe this! Thanks for everything. --Garry Miller
My wife asked me what I wanted to do for my Birthday,"Well?" I said as I led her to the bedroom and walked into the closet to get my rod...."I want to go fishing" She smiled and said go and have a great day. You see, I had taken a trip with Jackie Kennedy on Cedar Creek Lake to try to learn a few things about catching some big blues and I hadn't had a chance to go yet and it was driving me crazy. Well I loaded up my Dad and called a couple of friends and off to Lake Livingston I went. I tried to remember the tips Jackie had told me and got everything set out and litterally within 10 minutes of getting our baits in the water we had our first blue over 30 pounds in the boat... My Dad followed with a 43 pounder and Bobby Ingram caught a 34 pounder, his personal best bluecat. The next day we picked up Loy and he caught a 36 pounder his personal best bluecat. -- Garry Miller
I have fished with Jackieblue, and known the magnitude of what he accomplishes with most folks. JackieBlue will put the right kind of tackle in your hands, teach you how to fish for them, where to fish for them and put you on redfish. The only thing that varies is how hungry they are and the size. If Jackie could control those two variables his price should be much higher. Oh, by the way Jackie just landed and released the inland state C&R record red drum this summer. His record fish would even be a WOWer down on the coast during the bull run. Need I say more? --Don Miller
Call Jackie at 903-603-3793. But I warn you that once you fish with him you can become totally eaten up with fishing this little lake (Fairfield). One trip is all it takes to learn the basics and after that you better make sure you have your trailer in good shape, because you're going to be putting a lot of miles on it running back and forth to Fairfield. Just ask Don, Parker, CDE, Redfin, or myself, nothing puts up a fight like these fish. I learn something new every time I fish with Jackie. --Vaughn
I had the pleasure of being on this trip with Jackie on Lake Fairfield. We caught 49 reds from 7-11 AM. Lived on the coast all of my life and have salt water bay fished from Brownsville way to end of upper coast.
Never have I had such a day as this fishing for redfish or for that matter any other type of salthingyer fish.
I have no dog in this fight but Jackie Kennedy is the best guide I have ever fished with including Mike Williams ,Jim LeValle, Don Hand and David Dillman.
He promises nothing but a hard try at a most unpredectibable species of fish. If you don't catch"em it is not because he didn't put you where he usually catches them.
The trip before this one Jackie caught 6 or 7 redfish, yours truly caught none,I did catch a nice channel cat and released it.
Guaranteed to try and to tell you the truth.

My hat is off to Jackie
Well I left the house Friday morning at 4 a.m. and arrived on the lake about 6:30. Jackie came around the corner and I presume was catching bait. I know he is absolutely an amazing guide. He is very knowledgable and taught me more than I could ever learn by myself fishing that lake. He is a great orator that kept the conversation going with funny stories, knowledge of the lake and information about different species, and I learned how to throw a 7 foot cast net that he throws so effortlessly that it is artful. I learned a little about the lifecycle of tilapia, the hatchery vs. wild redfish coloration, history of Lake Fairfield and the plant that warms its waters. I learned a little about the area lakes and even the different species of Fairfield. I soaked up more information in that trip: so much that it can't be listed here. I think we caught around 25 reds in a half day trip and only one was under 20 inches and most were mid 20s. It might have been more or a few less. We were letting the camera count for us and both of our cameras ended up full and we still caught more fish. We had 4 flopping in the boat at one time because we didn't have time to do anything before another one was on. We had more doubles than I can remember and one or two triples. I was literally tired of reeling in fish. I asked Jackie to reel in a few. After the trip Jackie knew I had 2 families coming for the weekend and he made sure that we had plenty of tilapia filets for everyone. My hat is off to Jackie for a very memorable experience. I have hired a lot of guides on a lot of different bodies of water for a lot of different species of fish and this was by far the funniest and most informative trip. -- Scott Aubrey
Congrats on the state record! Pretty cool to say the least. Jackie's managed to rack up more records out of his boat over the past few years than anyone I know of. It's all just blind luck of course... and if anyone believes that, I've got some '99 vintage dot.com stock they'd probably be interested in. --RG Thomas
I'm Jerrod from Altus, Okla. I've fished with Jackie a couple of times. The guy is a freakin' dynamo on the water. The two best fishing trips I've ever been on were with Jackie. I fish the local lake here quite a bit and just started catfishing quite a bit last spring. I think Jackie has taught me more in the two trips that I've fished with him than I would've learned in 10 years on my own.
My wife and I fished with Jackie on Cedar Creek last weekend. He taught me more about catching and finding catfish in one day than I could have learned on my own with years of trial and error. It sure helped this weekend. Thanks Jackie. --Bobby Kuban

Jackie,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my fishing trip today. Your guiding expertise was very apparent when we started catching redfish shortly after we dropped our lines. When all was said and done I had a 38.5", 31.5", & 28" among the 14 that we eventually landed in the boat that morning. You made mention that sometimes we just happen to be in the right place at the right time. However, as a friend once told me, "We must be able to recognize and act upon opportunity when it comes our way through knowledge and preparation." You have proved that statement by knowing where to find the fish and how to attract them which resulted in today's success. Thanks for a great day of fishing!

I just wanted to say thanks for the great trip last week on Lake Fairfield.
You took the extra time to visit with my son, Michael, and answer all of
his questions. He and his friend, Justin, both love to fish and you helped
make their trip a wonderful experience.
We have already begun to talk about going to Cedar Creek for our next trip.
We will be calling you to set it up.
Take care.

Jackie,
Just want to thank you so very much for your indispensable help in
making yesterday a great "memory day" for me. It's always great to
spend time with you and with Ben. But when I can get both of you on the
same day and have a record redfish day on Fairfield, my life just can't
get any better than that!
God broke the mold when he made you, and Ben.
Safe travels,
Bill

Quotation SourceJust wanted to say "Thank You " for the great time Frosty, Neal, and I had on Tuesday May 20, 2014. I have fished with plenty of guides over the years but have never been with one as efficent and smooth as you. A great time was had by all and we were frying fish shortly after we got home and still had plenty to put in the freezer. Hope to get another trip in before you have your knee worked on so I will be in touch. Many Thanks, Richard

Hired a guide on Lake Quachita 10/03/15. Did not catch a fish or even get a bite.
There went $450. Seems like that happens a lot to me. Only good guides that I have
hired has been Jackie Kennedy, Matt Cartwright and Jason on Lake Palestine.
